A good friend of mine sent this first website to me-she knew I would love a website devoted to laser portraits-and she was right. I was so delighted to peruse the various pages, seeing the both mortifying and fabulous photos, mainly from the 90s, and remembering how I too when I was a youngin' that I wished for laser portraits.
The Second, I found on my own after I did a little searching. Almost as good, mainly because there are very few lasers, but still so hilarious and a really hysterical way to waste some time.

Happy summer!

like always, I'm lacking in posts, but I thought I would turn y'all onto something:

Vlogs.

While they are not new, I have just recently discovered 2 that I am pretty smitten with and that I subscribe to on YouTube.

The First, The Phillip DeFranco Show. Basically a sarcastic, cynical guy talking about random news stories. Pretty funny, I don't know why especially I watch, but I do get sucked in, and I laugh at the dumbness of mankind on a regular basis.

Here's the latest show:

The Second, The Vlogbrothers. Two brothers who pretty regularly update a channel of videos to eachother-a branch off of a project called Brotherhood 2.0. They've got a huge following affectionately called "nerd fighters" (I like to think of myself as one among the ranks) and are two intelligent, quirky, and funny people. I look forward to each video and what interesting things they bring to my life.

Thats all for now, I'm an old lady because I have a real job now, so I get to bed relatively early each night. Hopefully I'll update more regularly, but we all know that may not happen.

Yes, my 2 occasional readers(if that) my last post about the bears superbowl song was my 100th post. Very exciting.
OK-A Few Things:

1.The GIANTS won the superbowl, as I knew they would, although the other dorm rooms around me weren't that excited.
2.Brittany Spears has officially gone cookoo bird crazy pants. I'm glad she's getting help though.
3.I know it's been a while, but school just started up again, so I'm super busy. I'll be a little lax in the posting, but they'll be there-just wait and see.

I loved Shaun of the Dead, and now I'm completely stoked for the newest movie by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. I found this review from Canmag::

I attempted to make something today, that sounds awesome in premise, and, with practice, will probably be really cool: Tye-Dye Cookies. Here is my first attempt at them. I'm include the modified directions below :D

1.make a basic sugar cookie, but don't bake it.
2.obtain a paintbrush. and have a cup of water near by.
3.paint the cutouts of your cookie with water.
4.then dip your paintbrush into the water, then into the food coloring, and back into the water.
5.paint the cookie cutout with paintbrush, repeat pattern with all colors.
6.before putting into the oven, brush over lines between colors with water to get them to bleed a little bit.
7.bake as normal.

(you might have to cut your coloring with some water, because it'll be pretty bright. thats why mine looks a little intense.)
